I've decided that on top of my usual blog posts I'm going to try and give every weekday a theme here at BigCat Diary. Wednesday will be the classic track, something I love that has been forgotten a little.
The first classic is... Nada Surf's Popular. Still sounds fresh considering it's 15 years old now.

Jumping Ships- Heart and Hope
Here's a new band recommendation for you today, Brighton's Jumping Ships. One of those bands would've been selling out the Astoria with their first single 15 years ago, yet in this world where the charts center around Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars, pop-punk has to happen a little more organically (whether that's a good thing or not is a much longer blog post for another day) and this track, Heart and Hope is availiable now through Alcopop Records.
